With a different expectations, within a day Ramayya Vastavayya got split talk due to the below par second half which has close resemblance to other films released in the early 90’s..But during the Dussehra days the film had a good outing.
Producer Dil Raju also announced the film as commercial hit but entirely blamed the soft caption of the film and made it as reason for split talk. According to report, Ramayya Vastavayya even signed into the Rs 40 Cr club by the end of its full run.
